The Air Pollution Research in London (APRIL) network aims to bring together scientists, policy makers and the wider community. APRIL identifies priority areas for research to improve air quality in London and other major cities, supports the development of new scientific research and communicates the latest research findings. We hold regular meetings, generally hosted by the Greater London Authority (GLA) at City Hall.
APRIL is comprised of a number specialist groups focusing on various policy areas which are directly affected by air pollution, including; emissions, monitoring and modelling, transport, health impacts, urban development, and synergies with climate policies. Meetings are open to all, and coordinated and arranged through the Chairs of the different groups – see Committee
